BeeP BeeP — Privacy Policy

BeeP BeeP is a Chrome extension that displays a decorative animated candy box on the page you are viewing. It is a visual toy and nothing else.

What we collect

Nothing. BeeP BeeP does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any data whatsoever. There is no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, no account, and no identifier of any kind.

What the extension does

When you click the BeeP BeeP toolbar icon, the extension adds a small floating button and an animated candy box to the page in the active tab. Clicking the icon again removes the button. All of this happens locally inside your browser.

Network activity

The extension makes no network requests. It contains no remotely hosted code, no third-party libraries, and no external resources. Every file it runs is bundled inside the extension package.

Permissions

• activeTab — grants temporary access to the tab you are currently viewing, and only after you click the toolbar icon. This is what allows the candy box to be placed on the page you chose.
• scripting — used for a single call to chrome.scripting.executeScript that injects the widget file into that tab so the candy box can be drawn. It is never used to read page content.

The extension does not request host permissions and does not request access to all websites. It does not run on any page until you click the icon.

Children

BeeP BeeP is suitable for all ages and, because it collects no data at all, it collects no data from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published at this same address with a new date at the top.
